The Immortal McRib Sandwich
I had the most vivid dream last night. I was at a McDonald’s and this was on the menu!
And don’t ask me why I have dreams of food. Anyway, I came to work this morning asking these questions, “What ever happened to the McRib? Are they ever gonna make a comeback? If so, where can I find these mysterious sandwiches?”
After doing extensive online research, I’ve found that not only is there a website dedicated to the resurrection of this nostalgic creation of goodness (www.mcrib.com) but I’ve also discovered a user based map location system (powered by Google Maps) that pinpoints McRib sightings by exact McDonald’s locations throughout the United States. (http://kleincast.com/maps/mcrib.php) Unfortunately i’m not absolute on the reliability of these claims since there are no specific dates given on availability and locations, but it has definitely caused quite a buzz from McRib fans alike. So to anyone who is reading this, please do me a favor and contact me immediately if you happen to run into one on your next McDonald’s visit. Your next meal will be on ME!
